Rita Silva

Managing Partner

Rita Silva is a Lawyer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal and Social Sciences with a specialization in Commercial Law from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, a postgraduate degree in Fiscal Control of Taxpayers’ Rights and Prerogatives from the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha in Spain, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Ohio University, United States.

He has more than 25 years of experience in tax matters, former Country Managing Partner of Deloitte and Touche in Honduras, and Senior Partner of the Tax and Legal Services practice, participating in the supervision of multiple works in the tax and legal area for different public and private, national and international companies; he was part of the team of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as counterpart of the Government of Honduras in the revision of the legal tax system.

She has extensive experience in the preparation of tax structures, analysis of the tax impact of operations carried out by companies, legal representation, preparation of reports on tax reforms in Honduras and the impact on the development of the operations of companies; lecturer of courses on tax reforms, advisor on commercial issues.

Rita worked as legal advisor of the General Directorate of Taxation, was professor of the Master in Business Law at UNITEC, professor of the Bachelor in Public Accounting and Finance at UNAH and professor of Tax Law at UJCV.

She has participated in Diplomas in Foreign Trade and Customs Operations (SIECA), Women Executive Leadership Program (INCAE), Specialist in International Fraud techniques (IRS), Business Administration (Universidad Federal do Paraná) and in several seminars on Transfer Pricing given in Colombia, Argentina and England by the firm Deloitte.

Rita Silva has received international recognitions such as Women in Tax 2019, 2020 and 2021 awarded by International Tax Review Americas and Tax Controversy 2020 and 2021.
